    Illusions is the debut album of the young Luxembourgish band The Kooters, recorded and mixed at The Lullabye Factory, Amsterdam. The album takes the listener on a trip from the band's psychedelic rock basis, through grungy teenage angst, integrated into erratic post-rock compositions. In effect, throughout the four contrasting sides of the album, the young band represents the music they’ve come to define as “psychogrunge” in a raw, bold but honest manner. This shines through the completely-analog production of the record, in which the musicians don’t try to mask their imperfections, but instead bring their message, emotions and vision, to the listener in their true form. The vinyl record follows the same train of thought, as its covers were all screen-printed by hand by the band-member themselves and are unique, along with their flaws.
